McDonald's Company (Japan), Ltd. announced that as the second installment of its collaboration campaign with Dragon Quest, it will sell a total of five products: three variations of Dragon Quest Burger and McFizz / McFloat Refreshing Yogurt Soda Flavor. These will be available for a limited time at McDonald's restaurants nationwide in Japan starting Wednesday, January 7, 2026.
McDonald's x Dragon Quest Collaboration Dragon Quest Burger Appears!
The Dragon Quest Burger, the second installment of the collaboration campaign between Dragon Quest and McDonald's, is appearing for a limited time!
The new product Chunky Potato & Thick Beef Addictive Consommé Pepper Mayo features a fragrant roasted soy sauce-style sauce and a mayo sauce with the umami of consommé and garlic accented with black pepper.
The Hot Chili & Tartar Chicken combines a satisfying chicken patty with a spicy hot chili garlic sauce and a tartar sauce where you can taste the richness of sour cream.
The Cheese Double Teriyaki, which returns following last year, is a voluminous burger with two pork patties coated in a teriyaki-flavored sauce, sandwiched with rich cheese and lettuce.
All three burger products are finished with a sense of volume, sandwiched in original buns featuring slits inspired by the stroke of the Hero's sword.
In addition to these, the new bright blue drinks McFizz Refreshing Yogurt Soda Flavor and McFloat Refreshing Yogurt Soda Flavor, inspired by Slimes, appear.
Burgers are provided in collaboration packaging, and drinks are provided in collaboration cups depicting Slimes in limited quantities.
Also, Miku Ichinose of Nogizaka46 appears in the new TV commercial that will be broadcast starting Saturday, December 27, 2025.
The story involves her chanting spells such as "Meraloma" to create the legendary Dragon Quest Burger.

On December 25, with "#マックから伝説のドラクエバーガー" (Legendary Dragon Quest Burger From McDonald’s), 100 people will win 1,000 yen worth of McDonald's Cards by lottery, and on December 26, with "#ドラクエバーガーマクドナルドの伝説" (Dragon Quest Burger McDonald’s Legend), 100 people will win 500 yen worth of limited Dragon Quest McDonald's Cards by lottery.
