Scheduled for release in early 2025, "Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves" is the latest installment in SNK's truly legendary "Fatal Fury" fighting game series.
The previous work, "Garou: Mark of the Wolves," was released in arcades in November 1999. If this new title is released on schedule, it will be the first new installment in about 25 years, gathering a lot of attention not only from those who played it back then but also from those who discovered "Fatal Fury" later through the KOF series.
Furthermore, since playtests are being conducted at various events ahead of the release, many people have probably already gotten a glimpse of the new legend.
The first European playtest will be held at "gamescom 2024" in Cologne, Federal Republic of Germany, from Wednesday, August 21, 2024, to Sunday, August 25, 2024. If you are attending the event, be sure to go!

Individual Trailers and BGM for Three Characters Have Been Released!
Of the five characters revealed during the official announcement of "Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves" in March 2024, the individual trailers for Rock Howard, Terry Bogard, and Futaba Hotaru have been released (As of August 13, 2024)!
This is a generous release: they have made public not only the Japanese voice and English voice trailers but also the BGM for each character!
In the trailers, you can clearly check each character's motions and also see their stages. Seeing Terry's classic train stage brings a tear to my eye.

We expect more information to be released one after another, especially with the Tokyo Game Show 2024—a major Japanese event that begins Thursday, September 26, 2024—coming up soon.
SNK will likely have a booth at Tokyo Game Show 2024, and a booth presence suggests that playtests will also be available!
Since new characters are being announced one after another, there is a possibility that characters who were not available in previous playtests will be playable, so let's keep an eye out for further news!
