K/DA Legends Never Die from LoL

While League of Legends World Championship has come to the end, its opening ceremony has been a hot topic recently. Not only it got live performance of the theme song of this year ‘RISE’, theme song by the K/DA has been released with their new skin design.

Four singers including Miyeon and Soyeon of (G)I-DLE from Korea, Madison Beer and Jaira Burns joined together to perform new single ‘POP/STARS’ for the opening ceremony. All four members of K/DA including Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, and Kai'Sa have been brought to the stage singing and dancing by AR Reality Technology. The tension has come so high!

After the contest, LoL official released the music video of ‘POP/STARS’ by K/DA which has attracted more than twenty million views in just 5 days! Everyone has this song on repeat.

The storyboard of the MV is in K-pop style. Akali’s fluorescent look during her rap is so eye-catching that artists can’t stop themselves from painting. Facebook and Twitter are now overflowing with fan art of fluorescent Akali!

League of Legends official uploaded the full dance video of ‘POP/STARS’ by K/DA with by Ellen Kim, Bailey Sok, Stevie Doré and Eileen Harman. The four professional dancers give a cool performance that is different from the MV or the opening ceremony, but the choreography during the refrain is the same as the four champions done in the MV.

A tutorial was also uploaded on Twitter that teaches dance movements of parts of the refrain in POP/STARS. Anyone interested can take a look at Elie’s Twitter (@RiotVw1vet).
