An interactive event titled “ROG 20th Anniversary Celebration,” commemorating the 20th anniversary of ASUS’s gaming brand “Republic of Gamers” (hereinafter “ROG”), was held at “Olympian City,” a large shopping complex in Hong Kong.
The Saiga NAK editorial team visited the event to experience firsthand the latest gaming setups and various booths that are currently generating buzz, and we’re here to bring you a report on the event.
The Latest Gaming Devices Adorning the Venue! The Featured ROG Product Exhibition Area
Celebrating its milestone 20th anniversary in 2026, ROG —which continues to thrill gamers worldwide—brought together its latest lineup!
The special exhibition area featured a lineup of the latest devices, offering a variety of hands-on experiences. The booth was packed with gamers and fans, creating an electric atmosphere.
A stamp rally was also held throughout the venue, where participants could visit a total of five hands-on booths. By collecting stamps, attendees could receive limited-edition giveaways such aseco-bags, keychains, and stickers.
From the flagship “ROG G1000”—symbolizing the 20th anniversary—to the latest gear, everything was on display!
First up in the exhibition area is the “ROG G1000,” featuring the world’s first 3D hologram case, “AniMe Holo”!
Equipped with an “AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2” and the latest-generation “GeForce RTX 5080,” this is a special model limited to 18 units in Hong Kong.
The “AniMe Holo” display on the front seamlessly cycled through 3D holographic images of Hatsune Miku, Chiikawa, Street Fighter VI, and more, projected beautifully in rich, vibrant colors.

Also on display was the special commemorative coin “ROG Ultimate Faith Gold Coin,” available as a purchase bonus.
The 20th-anniversary limited-edition portable gaming PC set, the “ROG Xbox Ally X20 Bundle,” was also on display!
Inside the venue, the “ROG XBOX ALLY X20,” the main unit from the 20th-anniversary limited-edition “ROG XBOX ALLY X20Bundle,” was also on display.
Its translucent black body features the “ROG 20th Anniversary Emblem,” and the display is a 7.4-inch “ROG Nebula HDR OLED” with an ultra-narrow bezel.
Also on display were the AR glasses “ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20,” included in the same bundle.
Supporting the world’s first 240Hz refresh rate, they deliver an overwhelmingly immersive experience even outdoors.

Items from the “ ROG SLASH EDITION 20 ” series were also on display, including the limited-edition “ ROG SLASH Backpack Edition 20 ” and the “ ROG SLASH Hard-Case Luggage Edition 20.”
Try out the Steam version of “Monster Hunter: World” on the “ROG G1000”!
Next up was the hands-on demo area that had fans buzzing!
Using the latest model, the “ROG G1000,” visitors could try out the Steam version of “Monster Hunter: World.”
If you could defeat the ★1 Free Quest “Kematris at the Source of the Fire ” within the 6-minute time limit, you’d receive a stamp.
I chose the hugely popular " Katana."
By timing my counterattack to the monster’s attack after a special sheathing maneuver, I was able to land an *Iai Draw Ki-Edge Slash *.
There was also a thrilling scene where I launched a Focused Weak Point Attack, aiming to destroy the wound.
We successfully severed the tail and completed the hunt!
The frame rate remained stable throughout, and the incredibly smooth graphics made for a comfortable hunting experience.
I clocked a clear time of " 02'10"12 " and beat the game without running out of stamina!
Experiencing "Street Fighter 6" (Steam version) on the "ROG Strix" gaming laptop!
Next, in the demo area, I tried out the Steam version of " Street Fighter 6 " using the high-performance " ROG Strix " series gaming laptop.
I selected “Cammy” and challenged the CPU-controlled “ Luke ” using the laptop’s built-in keyboard.
The key input response was excellent, and after a fierce back-and-forth battle, I scored a spectacular K.O.!
Thanks to the smooth visuals provided by the high-refresh-rate display, I was able to enjoy the fighting game comfortably.
Other titles like " VALORANT " and " League of Legends " were also available, making this an area where visitors could experience the quality of ROG products across a variety of games.
Trying out the ROG original game “OMNI’S ROG NEBULA MISSION”
I was also able to try out the ROG-original game " OMNI’S ROG NEBULA MISSION."
The game consists of three stages. After lining up the " ROG " symbols on the slot machine in Stage 1, the mission in Stage 2 is to find " OMNI " hidden in the shadows.
Unfortunately, I failed the color recognition test in Stage 3, but I was able to experience the display’s vivid colors and excellent visibility firsthand.
Recreating a Classic Game with AI Tools and a Hands-On Experience
There’s an area where AI is used to recreate the classic game “Flappy Bird ”!
I earned a stamp just for playing right there!
There was also a message board to send encouragement to the Hong Kong national team
In addition, a message board for cheering on Hong Kong’s esports athletes was set up inside the venue, and you could get a stamp by writing a message of support.
The entire wall was covered with messages of support, and the venue was filled with a warm atmosphere.
We also spotted a dedicated cooler for “Monster Energy ”—a familiar name to gamers—inside the venue!
I successfully completed all five missions and received an original keychain as a giveaway!
It featured a high-end design with substantial metal parts and a leather-like strap.
When I went to redeem mine, it turned out to be the very last one left—a testament to just how popular it was among attendees.
