The " Tokyo Game Show 2026," a gaming festival, was held at Makuhari Messe from Thursday, September 17, 2026, through Sunday, September 20, 2026.
In this report, we’ll take a look at the booth of the keyboard brand " Keychron "!
"Keychron" Booth Report! Hands-on with the Latest Keyboards

At the “Keychron” booth, a giant keyboard installation greeted visitors.
Believe it or not, the keys actually worked, and visitors stopped one after another to press them.
World Premiere of the Split Keyboard “Valkey Orb”

A prototype of the " Valkey Orb "—a split keyboard with a trackball currently under joint development by the custom keyboard specialist "Yusha Kobo" and Keychron—made its world debut.
Split keyboards have been all the rage lately, and I was completely captivated by its beautiful, all-white design.
The trackball is positioned near the right thumb, and the keyboard supports both wireless and wired connections.
They plan to launch a crowdfunding campaign on Gizmart sometime in 2026.
Products co-developed with Gizmodo Japan on display

In one corner of the booth, products jointly developed by “Keychron” and “Gizmodo Japan” were also on display.
I was able to actually try out the “Nape Pro,” a compact trackball device that raised over 400 million yen through crowdfunding.
It’s a device with a very distinctive feel, but I realized it’s smaller than I imagined and seems like it could be used just like a laptop trackpad.
Additionally, some products were available for purchase right at the booth.
Popular Models Like the “HE” Series Were All on Display

The “K3 HE,” a low-profile keyboard combining natural wood and a metal frame, was on display in Japan for the first time.
This keyboard allows you to adjust the actuation point of its magnetic switches in 0.1mm increments, making it versatile for everything from gaming to work.

The “C100 8K” is a custom macro pad featuring 100 keys arranged in a 10×10 grid.
You can assign any function you like to each individual key, making it ideal for live streaming and video editing.
It even supports a polling rate of 8,000 Hz.

In addition, numerous popular Keychron keyboards were on display, centered around the “HE” series featuring magnetic switches.
Visitors could get hands-on with devices rarely seen in person—such as the “K2 HE” All-Wood Special Edition with its wooden frame—making this a booth where you could fully experience the appeal of Keychron.
Anticipation for upcoming devices continues to grow!
That wraps up our report on the “Keychron” booth!
