SNK has released many blockbuster titles, but the current mainstays of the company are KOF and SAMURAI SP IRITS.
The latest " THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIV " and " SAMURAI SPIRITS " are currently being played not only in Japan, but all over the world, day and night.
Although recent games have been updated after their release to allow for longer play, "THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIV" was released in 2016, and "SAMURAI SPIRITS" has not seen any major developments since the distribution of "KOUSENREI" in August. There has been no major movement since then.
Just when we were thinking that it was about time for something to happen, a video has been released announcing the newest title in the KOF series, "THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV" and the Season Pass 3 for "SAMURAI SPIRITS"!
New information will be released on January 7, 2021!
In the trailer, " THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV " (KOF XV) Producer Yasuyuki Oda and Creative Director Eisuke Ogura will appear and talk about KOF XV.
A short trailer announcing KOF XV was shown, and the designs of Shun'ei, who will officially become the main character in this title, and the ever-familiar Kyo Kusanagi and Benimaru Nikaido were unveiled.
Kyo Kusanagi has recently been seen wearing a white rider's jacket, but in KOF XV he will be wearing a black jacket and a bandana for the first time in a while.
Benimaru Nikaido is dressed in a sleeveless oriental style, which seems to be a return to his roots.
The KOF XV logo has also been unveiled!
The logo has a stylish design that emphasizes "KOF" more than "THE KING OF FIGHTERS," as the abbreviation "KOF" is now well established.
The team composition also seems to be completely different from that of KOF XIV, and we look forward to more information!
In " SAMURAI SPIRITS," not only the recently announced collaboration character from "Gekka no Kenji," but also a new character from Season Pass 3 will be announced!
We can't wait to find out if it will be a new character or a popular character from the previous games in the series!
The official announcement regarding KOF XV and "SAMURAI SPIRITS" Season Pass 3 will be made on Thursday, January 7, 2021!
