"Rakuten Content Central" Develops Ninja Character "NINNIN" with Toei! Expanding to NFTs, Short Anime, and More

Rakuten Content Central, which handles IP development and content production for Rakuten, has co-produced an original ninja-themed character, "NINNIN," with Toei.
"NINNIN" is planned to be utilized in various businesses through NFTs, video content, and app development.

First Project: "NINNIN WARIFU"

NFTs named "NINNIN WARIFU" will go on sale starting on October 31, 2024.

This is a collaborative product with period drama costumes created by artisans at Toei Kyoto Studio, based on designs by Japanese painter Tadaoto Kainosho.
It will be sold and distributed on Rakuten's official website, "OpenSea," "Magic Eden," and other platforms.

Content Development

In addition to streaming short anime on the official YouTube channel, short videos will also be featured on TikTok.
In 2025, they are also scheduled to serve as the PR characters for Toei Kyoto Studio Park.
Furthermore, there are plans for video works and mini-app development.
