Six REJECT Players Qualify for Esports World Cup 2026! Umehara and Tokido Aim for Victory

The esports team REJECT has announced the players who have qualified for the world championship Esports World Cup 2026 (hereinafter referred to as EWC 2026).
A total of six members from the Street Fighter 6 (hereinafter referred to as SF6) division and the FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves (hereinafter referred to as FATAL FURY: CotW) division, who have won league matches in Japan and Europe as well as world championships, will take on the main event held in Saudi Arabia starting in July 2026.

Six members of the esports team REJECT have qualified for EWC 2026. From the SF6 division, the following five members were selected after achieving brilliant accomplishments, such as conquering the Street Fighter League in Japan and Europe:

In EWC 2025, AngryBird finished in 4th place and Fuudo finished in 5th place in the SF6 division, narrowly missing the podium. Fans won't want to miss seeing if the champions of Japan and Europe, who have become even stronger, can achieve their revenge!
