Haitani (@hai090), who belongs to the professional esports team REJECT, is a streamer who finished fifth in the Street Fighter 6 category at the EVO 2023 fighting game world championship and also puts a lot of effort into coaching.
"Haitani Toryumon," a new long-term program launched in collaboration between Haitani, who is known as one of the "Fighting Game 5 Godss," and the professional esports team REJECT, aims to create opportunities for the younger generation to take on challenges in the fighting game scene.

"Haitani Toryumon" Phase 1 Will Support Two Players!

To break through the current situation where there is a lack of opportunities and support for young players to participate in tournaments, the first phase of "Haitani Toryumon" will support Adelie and Sahara!
It will send them to CAPCOM Pro Tour 2024 SUPER PREMIER SINGAPORE (CPT Singapore) by fully supporting their travel and accommodation expenses!

Sahara (@sahara7h)

  • Age: 19
  • Main character: Akuma

I'd like to thank Haitani and everyone at REJECT for your support and for inviting me to such a valuable experience!
I was so surprised because I never thought I would get the chance to participate in an overseas tournament!
This will be my first offline tournament since EVO Japan, so I'll do my best by putting what I learned from my last experience to good use!

Haitani's Comment

In Street Fighter 6, there are a lot of players, and many strong young players who aren't well known yet also exist.
The purpose of this project is to support these strong young players, whether or not they want to become pros, and encourage their success in the fighting game scene.
The reality is that it's hard to participate in official tournaments that require traveling overseas on your own.
By supporting the costs for such tournaments, we will create opportunities for young players to get noticed.
We are also planning content that will bring together young players from within Japan.
I believe that training the young people who will be the next generation of the fighting game scene is indispensable, so please look forward to the future developments of "Haitani Toryumon."
