News

The Kagawa Prefecture eSports Association announced on its official Twitter account that the deadline for applying to participate in the Kagawa Prefecture preliminary round of the " National Inter-Prefectural eSports Championship 2020 KAGOSHIMA Winning Eleven Division," an eSports championship in which representative players from each prefecture compete, has been extended. Kagawa Prefecture eSports Association announced on Twitter.
The qualifying tournament will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., but the deadline for registration will be extended to Friday, October 23, 2020, the day before the qualifying tournament.
The reason for the extension of the application deadline is due to the lack of applications for both the "High School" and "Open" divisions.

Applications will now be accepted until October 23, the day before the competition.

Currently, applications for both the "High School Student Division" and "Open Division" can be submitted through the application form for the preliminary contests.
The Kagawa eSports Association also mentioned on Twitter about the Kagawa Prefecture's " Game Ordinance," or the "Kagawa Prefecture Ordinance on Measures against Internet Game Addiction," which was enacted in January 2020 and limits the use of online games, consumer games, and arcade games to 60 minutes or less on weekdays and 90 minutes or less on weekends. The Kagawa Prefecture eSports Association mentioned this on Twitter.
The Kagawa eSports Association also mentioned on Twitter that the maximum playing time for a 16-slot tournament would be 80 minutes.
More details can be found on the official Twitter account of the Kagawa eSports Association (@udon_esports).
