Gaming lifestyle brand M-GAMING has announced the release of the M-GAMING A02, the successor to the M-GAMING A01. This model was fully supervised by pro gamer Nemo, and pre-orders began on Friday, March 13, 2026.

The concept for the M-GAMING A02 is the ultimate arcade controller to match modern fighting games. It is the successor to the M-GAMING A01, created by gaming lifestyle brand M-GAMING and Nemo (@GOOD_NEMO), a pro gamer active on the front lines of the fighting game community.

While maintaining the stable operability of the M-GAMING A01, this controller incorporates new requests and ideas from Nemo, serving as the closest possible version of Nemo's current optimal solution.

Features of the Evolved M-GAMING A02

Fully Supervised by Pro Gamer Nemo

Pro gamer Nemo, who is active in the fighting game community, supervised this project. In addition to a new button layout created through repeated competitive play, the chassis design has evolved further based on many of Nemo's requests and ideas.

The controller continues to feature the metal body with a shadow black painted finish and a top plate designed to reduce physical strain during long play sessions, both of which were popular features of the M-GAMING A01. Furthermore, the chassis design has evolved to improve stability when placed on the lap.

Completely Redesigned Button Layout

The position of the R3 button was adjusted based on Nemo's feedback. Additionally, the lineup includes two types with different button sizes: the 24/30mm NEMO EDITION model and the 30mm model. While the 24/30mm NEMO EDITION model is primarily configured with 24mm buttons, the 4P and 4K buttons are 30mm to prevent accidental input errors.

Equipped with High-Performance GEN-5 Fighting Board

The controller is equipped with the GEN-5 Fighting Board, which features a built-in Arm Cortex-M4F chip. It is manufactured by Brook and favored by pro players worldwide. With multi-platform support, it provides an incredibly fast input experience.

Adoption of Reliable Sanwa Denshi Levers and Buttons

The controller utilizes joystick levers and buttons made by Sanwa Denshi, which have been industry standards for many years. This results in an excellent operational feel that fits naturally in any player's hands.

Easy Maintenance and Customization

Ease of maintenance has been improved by refining the layout of internal components. Not only the levers and buttons but also the control board can be replaced. Additionally, the height of the lever is now adjustable.

USB Type-C Interface

For the interface connecting the controller to consoles or PCs, an original M-GAMING USB Type-C connector is used. It can be easily replaced if it becomes damaged.

Full Domestic Production with Extensive Support

Every unit is handled individually by the staff of domestic partner factories, from the manufacture of the chassis to final assembly. In addition, a domestic customer center for repairs and after-sales service has been established to provide reliable support.
