Sony Interactive Entertainment announces a new peripheral for PlayStation 5, the "PULSE Elevate Wireless Speaker". It will be available in 2026.

"PULSE Elevate Wireless Speakers" is the next generation of gaming audio experience developed with the "PULSE Elite Wireless Headset" and "PULSE Explore Wireless Earphones". The PULSE Explore wireless earbuds are the next generation of gaming audio experience, further evolving on the studio's proprietary planar-field drivers that deliver realistic sound across the entire audible range, enabling a wide range of devices, including PS5, PC, Mac, and PS Portal, to enjoy sound as the developers intended.
PS5 offers more immersive gaming experience with Tempest 3D AudioTech support. Speakers feature built-in woofers and bass sound for a rich acoustic space experience. The right speaker also has a built-in microphone with AI-enhanced noise reduction technology. This allows for clear voice chat with reduced background noise without the need for a headset.
On the connectivity side, PlayStation Link technology provides ultra-low latency and lossless connectivity. The PlayStation Link technology provides ultra-low latency and lossless connectivity for real-time, immersive sound on compatible devices such as PS5, PC, Mac, and PS Portal. Bluetooth support allows users to listen to game audio on a device connected to PlayStation Link while simultaneously playing music or voice chatting via another Bluetooth device. Also included is a USB adapter for PlayStation Link that supports USB-C.
The built-in rechargeable battery makes it portable, and the included charging dock can be used to quickly switch to a desktop environment. The main unit can be adjusted horizontally and vertically and has a built-in volume control. The EQ adjustment, sidetone, volume, and microphone mute settings can also be adjusted from the PS5 or PC system menu.
