As PlayStation's inaugural audio product to do so, they incorporate custom-designed planar magnetic drivers typically found in premium audiophile studio headphones used by professional sound engineers.
Delivering pristine clarity and punchy bass, they allow players to experience soundscapes exactly as game creators intended.
Equipped with dual microphones powered by AI-enhanced noise rejection to filter out background noise, they also support lossless audio.
In PS5 titles supporting 3D Audio, players can enjoy immersive three-dimensional acoustics with precise positional cues, elevating comfort and auditory depth.
While connected to a PlayStation Link-compatible device (PS5, PC, Mac, or PlayStation Portal Remote Player), they can simultaneously connect to a Bluetooth device.
By connecting to a PS5 via PlayStation Link using the USB adapter while simultaneously pairing to a smartphone via Bluetooth, you can take calls without interrupting in-game audio.
The price revision takes effect on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
