Square Enix will release the HD-2D version of " Dragon Quest III: The Legend " on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms on Thursday, November 14, 2024. The game is a turn-based command battle game, familiar to fans of the series. The game retains the series' familiar turn-based command battles and job change system, but adds new professions, content, and more.

Dragon Quest III: The Legend" was originally released on the Family Computer in 1988, and 36 years after its release, it has been reborn in an HD-2D version. The series' familiar turn-based command battles and job change system have been retained, but new professions and new content have been added.
