Review

Headsets exist in the world by the stars. Among them, gaming headsets are the ones designed for gamers.
Many manufacturers offer gaming headsets, but are you a wired type that plugs into a USB or earphone jack?
Do you prefer a wireless type that can be connected via a dedicated receiver or Bluetooth?
"Wired type is safe! "Wireless type is easy! "The wired type is safe!" "The wireless type is easy!
This time, we would like to introduce you to the " PRO X& " and " PRO X& " gaming headsets released by LogitechG, the Japanese subsidiary of Logitech International, a company that has released numerous gaming devices to the world. I would like to try out the "PRO X Wireless " and the " PRO X" from Logitech G!

Wired or Wireless? Comparison of the differences in appearance

The outer boxes of "PRO X" and "PRO X Wireless

Let's take a look at the difference from the box.
On the left is the PRO X Wireless and on the right is the PRO X.
They look almost the same, but there is a difference in the icon in the upper right corner that indicates the technology installed, and there is also a difference in whether or not there is a "WIRELESS" under the word "PRO".
Keep these differences in mind when looking for the right one in the store!

On the back of the box, you will find the product specifications and a message.
There are quite a few differences.
PRO X Wireless" has " KEEP PLAYING " and "PRO X Wireless" has " KEEP PLAYING ".
PRO X" has " PLAY TO WIN ".

Here is a comparison of the side view.
The "PRO X Wireless" shows the contents in a photo, but the "PRO X" has a line drawing.
The picture is easier to understand, so I guess the wireless is a step ahead here.

Opening the "PRO X"!

Now that we have compared the outer boxes, let's open the wired "PRO X" first!

Contents of the PRO X package
Saiga NAK

When you open the package, it looks like this.
Logitech's typical simple and lean packaging. I like that.

The microphone is attached like this.
The design is simple, yet full of a sense of quality.
The jack for the cable is on the lower left side.

Next, let's take a look at the wireless "PRO X Wireless.

The inner box is similar to the wired type, except for the way the receiver is stored.

PRO X Wireless
Saiga NAK

The microphone is attached. No cable is needed, so you can use it as it is!
It looks better without the cable.

The two microphones side by side look like this.
There is almost no difference in appearance!

Difference between "PRO X" and "PRO X Wireless
Saiga NAK

The "PRO X Wireless" on the left has a mute button, volume dial, and power button.
The "PRO X" on the right has no such buttons, but instead has a mute switch on the cable.

Included Carrying Case
Saiga NAK

Both models come with their own carrying case.
This is a nice touch, as the case can easily get scratched if left naked in a bag.
The thick soft padding will protect it well.
You can also put cables in it.

I used each of them in a racing game!

PRO X" with the "PRO X Wireless"!

First, let's try on the "PRO X".
The earpads are not too tight, but they wrap around your ears completely and provide excellent sound insulation.
The earpads are comfortable and soft to wear, and while they hold the earpads securely, they do not put any strain on the ears or head.

The bass is quite strong!
Saiga NAK

Let's try playing a racing game with the steering wheel controller " G29 " wearing the PRO X. I'm covered in Logitech!
The wired nature of the controller means that there is the occasional bump on the left hand, but the fact that you don't have to worry about delays or the state of the connection is a big advantage.
If you try to handle the cable well and try not to lose your concentration, it's totally possible.

The sound quality is quite bass -heavy! You can hear the sound of the engine and the "thumping" sound when stepping on a curb.

Next, let's try PRO X Wireless.
Basically the same as the "PRO X", these also have a high level of sound insulation and are comfortable to wear, gently and firmly enveloping.
It is intuitive and easy to adjust the volume with the volume dial on the left ear.
There is no clicking sensation, and the operation is smooth and effortless, but this may be a matter of personal preference.

Wireless is easy!
Saiga NAK

Unlike "PRO X", "PRO X Wireless" communicates wirelessly via a dedicated receiver.
It's easy not to have to worry about cable routing or contact!
If the cable gets caught on your arm while operating the steering wheel, the headset gets pulled along. It's great that I don't have to worry about that.

Now, with wireless, I'm concerned about latency and connection stability. It's not nice to have a choppy connection, is it?
However, the PRO X Wireless is the first headset to incorporate Logitech's proprietary LIGHTSPEED wireless technology.
Even with wireless technology, the response time is said to be as fast as that of a wired connection.
I actually played a racing game with the PRO X Wireless and felt no discomfort at all.
I could believe it even if someone said, "This is wired. LIGHTSPEED" is amazing!

My personal recommendation: PRO X Wireless
Saiga NAK

I compared the "PRO X" and "PRO X Wireless", and I personally recommend the wireless "PRO X Wireless".
I personally recommend the wireless "PRO X Wireless". Even with the wireless, the sound is as good as with the wired.
If you are too lazy to charge the batteries! I would say that wired is safer for those who can't be bothered to charge the batteries. Choose the one that best suits your style of play!

"PRO X Wireless" is wireless and stress-free!
