[ACGHK 2026] Rivaling Comiket! A Report on the Cosplay and Doujin Booths at ACGHK 2026 in Hong Kong!

Event

" ACGHK 2026," also known as "Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong 2026 (Hong Kong Anime, Manga, and Gaming Festival 2026)," was held from Friday, July 24, 2026, to Tuesday, July 28, 2026.
Summer Comiket (Comic Market 108) is finally set to begin tomorrow, but I’ll be reporting on the doujin booths at ACGHK—Hong Kong’s World Doujin Festival—which is every bit as impressive as Summer Comiket!

Popular cosplay doujin booths!

Photographer Lazy Wong’s new work, “《明》 — Bright,” is on sale!

And of course, the sales staff were there too!

His previous work, the “Tales of Girls” series, was also available for purchase!

She was selling photo books featuring various cosplay outfits.

In addition to photo books, she had Instax photos and merchandise—and some popular items were even sold out!

A Japanese person selling a book on Middle Eastern cuisine in Hong Kong

That familiar outfit belongs to the booth of the well-known "Akira Takatoriya ( @Shams_Qamar_JP )."
He wasn’t exhibiting at a cosplayer’s booth, but since he was in cosplay, I’m including him in the cosplayer category.

Saiga NAK

I don’t think there’s anyone else in Hong Kong selling books on Middle Eastern cuisine besides Mr. Takatoriya—he’s one of a kind.

Saiga NAK

Don’t worry—he definitely had Japanese editions available too. Even though we’re in Hong Kong.

Back to the cosplayers’ booths

Yu_Eiki ( @yu_yukiyuki )’s booth!

Saiga NAK

It’s standard practice to be able to buy not only new releases but also past works—fans couldn’t be happier.

Icarus from *Sora no Otoshimono*!

Ainyu namyau ( @namyau_2 )’s booth.
An Ikaros cosplay from “Sora no Otoshimono” in her school swimsuit version!

Saiga NAK

It really felt like a pet Angeloid created solely to entertain its Master in real life.

Of course, there were plenty of photos of other cosplays as well.

ACGHK is just as intense as Comiket!

ACGHK, held every July, has the same incredible energy as Summer Comiket.
Plus, since ACGHK runs for five days and attracts large crowds even on weekdays, it feels even more lively than Comiket.

That wraps up our look at the cosplay doujin booths at ACGHK 2026! Comiket 108 starts tomorrow, so let’s meet again tomorrow at Tokyo Big Sight!
