TechnoBlood eSports, Inc. announces that the " Apex Legends LIGHT CHALLENGE," an online competition using the popular battle royale game " Apex Legends," will be held on Saturday, July 10 and Sunday, July 11, 2021. The "Apex Legends LIGHT CHALLENGE" will be held on July 10 and 11, 2021.
In DAY 1, 40 teams from the general public will compete in the GROUP STAGE. Day 2 will be played between the 10 teams that made it through Day 1 and the 10 invited teams, for a total of 20 teams.
What is the "Apex Legends LIGHT CHALLENGE"?
The "Apex Legends LIGHT CHALLENGE" is an online competition using the popular battle royale game " Apex Legends ".
The total prize money is 500,000 yen and 40 teams from the general public and 10 teams from the invited teams will participate in this tournament.
The tournament will be held over two days: Day 1 for the general public, and Day 2 for the 10 teams that make it through Day 1 plus 10 invited teams.

About the tournament format
The tournament will be held over two days: DAY 1 for general applicants and DAY 2 for the 10 teams that make it through DAY 1 plus the 10 invited teams.
DAY 1: GROUP STAGE
The 40 teams from the general public will be divided into two groups for the GROUP STAGE qualifying round, where the top 10 teams in each group (20 teams in total) will advance to the GROUP STAGE finals.
In the GROUP STAGE finals, 3 matches will be played, and the top 10 teams in each group with the highest total score will advance to the GRAND FINALS on DAY2.
DAY 2: GRAND FINALS
A total of 20 teams, including 10 teams that have made it through DAY 1: GROUP STAGE and 10 invited teams, will compete in 5 matches. The top teams will also receive luxurious prizes and cash prizes.
