EVO Japan 2026 ARC SYSTEM WORKS Booth Report! MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls Demo, Merch, and More

One of Japan's largest fighting game festivals, EVO Japan 2026 presented by Levtech (hereinafter EVO Japan 2026).
While participating in various tournaments is a given, you can enjoy a whole day just by visiting each exhibitor booth.
This time, we are highlighting the ARC SYSTEM WORKS booth!

MARVEL Heroes Bam! Right After Entering the Venue!

At EVO Japan 2026, the ARC SYSTEM WORKS booth was set up right near the entrance!
Familiar MARVEL heroes welcomed the attendees.

At this year's ARC SYSTEM WORKS booth, a demo of MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, scheduled for release on Friday, August 7, 2026, is available!
A total of 12 characters are playable, including Peni Parker, whose participation was just announced the other day! The playable roster is as follows:

• Ms. Marvel
• Storm
• Magik
• Wolverine
• Danger
• Captain America
• Iron Man
• Doctor Doom

Furthermore, you could choose a controller from three variations: pad, leverless, or arcade stick!
This alone conveys the level of seriousness for this title.

I also had the opportunity to try the demo, and it was extremely enjoyable, designed so that you can experience an exhilarating feeling with simple controls such as button mashing.
With the implementation of "easy special moves with one button" familiar to Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising and "Wall Break" similar to GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE-, the content can be called the culmination of ARC SYSTEM WORKS, which has worked on numerous fighting games.
In particular, the fact that you can call assist characters separately from the character you use is similar to Dragon Ball FighterZ, so those who played that title will surely enjoy this work as well.
