Sleep Rankings for Each Guest's Hometown! How Did They Fare...?
Saiga NAKHongo's home prefecture of Miyagi ranked 19th.
Saiga NAKWhen asked about the image of sleep in Miyagi, Hongo quipped, "It doesn't ring a bell at all! (laughs)"
Connecting his answer to Pokémon, he added, "When I know work will be tough the next day, I tend to have nightmares and dread waking up, so I wish Munna or Musharna would use Dream Eater to eat them away."
Saiga NAKJike's home prefecture of Mie ranked 26th.
Saiga NAKAs reflected in the characterization of "early to bed, early to rise, bath lovers," Mie ranked 5th nationwide in the proportion of people taking long, relaxing baths.
In response, Jike reflected on relaxing at home, sharing, "We talk a lot after getting into bed."
Saiga NAKOsaka Prefecture, hometown to Matsumura and Ace, ranked 39th.
Reflecting night-owl habits—ranking 2nd in walking five or more days a week and 4th in time spent outdoors—Ace commented, "I just moved to Tokyo last year, but cities offer so many places to hang out at night."

Saiga NAKMatsumura nodded in agreement, commenting, "People in Osaka are active, impatient, and full of curiosity, which makes sleep irregular. I was also constantly on the move when living in Osaka."
"Pokémon × Healthcare"! Looking Back at Pokémon's Healthcare Journey

A dedicated segment revisited 30 years of Pokémon and healthcare history since 1996 alongside the guests' personal memories.
Over these 30 years, numerous healthcare products and apps have launched.

When an actual Pokémon Pikachu unit released in 1998 appeared on stage, Hongo reacted with excitement as fond childhood memories flooded back.

Hongo shared a photo from his visit to the very first Pokémon Center when it opened in Nihonbashi!
Posing next to a Charizard footprint statue, his lifelong love for Pokémon shone through.

Jike selected a photo from his amateur baseball days.
In 2016, Pokémon GO was released.
Due to an agency rule at Yoshimoto that barred forming a new comedy duo for six months following a breakup, he spent that entire half-year playing Pokémon GO.
Reflecting on the photo, he recalled taking rock-paper-scissors very seriously to decide who carried the bulky equipment bag, as carrying it made playing Pokémon GO much harder.

Ace chose a photo from 2023, the year he got married and reached the M-1 Grand Prix semifinals.
2023 was also the launch year of Pokémon Sleep.
Commenting that the fireworks in the photo were as round as an Electrode, Hongo immediately teased, "Isn't that stretching the Pokémon tie-in a bit too far?! (laughs)," drawing laughter from the audience.

Matsumura selected a photo from when she gave birth to her baby girl and became a mother.
2026 marks Pokémon's 30th anniversary.
Having played Pokémon Sleep since its launch, she shared a heartwarming story of finding nighttime crying recorded via the audio tracking feature, turning her mornings into a joyful moment amidst the challenges of parenting.
"I highly recommend Pokémon Sleep to mothers and fathers across the country!" she beamed, sharing how she stays mindful of her sleep habits while navigating motherhood.

The talk session kicked off with the theme: "What dream do you want to achieve this year?"

Hongo answered, "I want to win a Pokémon battle against my nephew!"
He explained that they stage Pokémon battles using plushies, but he has yet to win a single match. He shared his determination to eventually teach his nephew the realities of competition and the valuable lessons gained from losing.

When asked, "What is your sleep-related struggle?" Matsumura answered, "It's hard to sleep soundly."
In the midst of raising a child, she noted that struggling to sleep soundly motivated her to improve her sleep quality, partly for the sake of Pokémon Sleep.
"Visualizing my sleep with Pokémon Sleep gave me a great opportunity to reassess my sleeping habits!" she noted.

Finally, Batteries were asked, "What is your recommended pre-sleep routine?"
Ace commented, "I fall asleep while thinking about things."
He explained, "Thinking isn't fun, so because it's boring, I naturally drift off to sleep," prompting a wry smile from Jike.

Jike replied, "I check whether there are moves I can use while asleep, like Sleep Talk or Snore, before going to bed."
Hongo instantly reacted, "Those are Pokémon moves...!"
Jike rapid-fired, "Using Rest fully restores HP, but holding a Chesto Berry cures the sleep status immediately," to which Hongo quipped, "We can tell Jike is a hardcore competitive player! (laughs)," filling the room with laughter.

With September 3 celebrating Good Sleep Day, let's improve our sleep quality while enjoying Autumn Sleep Week with Pokémon Sleep!
