Tama Art University TUB (@tamabi_tub) will hold " Thinking with Pokemon: Art and Environmental Education Exhibition " from March 26 (Sun) to April 8 (Sat), 2023. For two days during the exhibition, elementary school students and their parents/guardians will be paired up for a " Make Your Own Monster Ball " workshop. Tama Art University, in cooperation with the Pokémon with You Foundation, will hold the "Pokémon and Art & Environmental Education Exhibition. Visitors can learn about the sensitivity and creativity fostered by art education and environmental education together through Pokemon! At the exhibition, students of Studio 3, majoring in product design, will display Pokémon made from various everyday objects under the title of "POKÉMON UPCYCLE SCULPTURE". Pikachu, Lizard, Houou, Colinck, and more than 20 other Pokémon that show how fun it is to create something creative. There will also be a Q&A session on the current state of the garbage problem in our daily lives. For two days during the exhibition, a "Make Your Own Monster Ball" workshop will be held for pairs of elementary school students and their parents.

Monster Ball Workshop: "Let's make your own monster ball!
For two days during the exhibition, a "Make Your Own Monster Ball" workshop will be held for pairs of elementary school students and their parents. In this workshop, participants will make a one-of-a-kind monster ball using a spherical fireworks ball skin made of used cardboard. Joint parts can be attached to this firework ball to open and close the monster ball! The surface of the monster ball is painted with favorite Pokémon using pen-type Posca, making it easy even for children to create. There will be support from Tama Art University faculty and students, so please feel free to participate. Applications for the workshop will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and the application page will be available at a later date.
