I went to the booth of TGS2022 and BenQ! New Gaming Monitors too!

Event

BenQ Japan ("BenQ") also exhibited at "Tokyo Game Show 20 22" ("TGS2022"), which took place at Makuhari Messe from Thursday, September 15 to Sunday, September 18, 2022.
BenQ's booth featured a wide variety of gaming monitors, some of which were new products announced at TGS2022!
In addition to monitors, there were also gaming projectors on display and available for hands-on experience, making the booth so popular that it was always overflowing with visitors!

360Hz gaming monitor "XL2566K

Saiga NAK

The " XL2566K ", the first ZOWIE series gaming monitor with 360Hz refresh rate!
The "XL2566K" is the first ZOWIE series gaming monitor with a refresh rate of 360Hz, and of course it is equipped with the unique "DyAc+" technology to reduce afterimage, the "Black eQualizer" function to improve visibility in dark areas, and "Color Vibrance" to improve the visibility of enemy characters by allowing fine adjustment of color settings and tones. The "Color Vibrance" feature allows you to adjust color settings and tones to improve the visibility of enemy characters, bringing you one step closer to victory in FPS games.

I was so impressed with the demo monitor that I could clearly see the heads of the game bots even when I moved the screen violently with the mouse.

The "EX270QM" 240Hz gaming monitor

Saiga NAK

The MOBIUZ series is recommended for those who play FPS games but also demand high screen quality and game intensity.
The " EX270QM," the first gaming monitor in the series with a 27-inch, non-glare IPS panel that supports a 240Hz refresh rate, was on display.
The quality of the screen is so high that you can clearly see game bots even when the screen is moved violently, so this monitor is highly recommended for those who play FPS games but want to enjoy games with better graphics.
Furthermore, the MOBIUZ series is equipped with high quality 2.1ch treVolo speakers, so even those who do not use headphones or earphones very often can immerse themselves in games, which is quite attractive.

OLED gaming monitor "EX480UZ

Saiga NAK

Among the monitors on display was the " EX480UZ," a rather large gaming monitor.
The 48-inch monitor is the first in the MOBIUZ series to use an OLED panel without a backlight, which allows for the reproduction of near-perfect blacks.
Playing racing games, horror games, and other powerful games on the big screen adds to the intensity, and you're sure to have a gaming experience that's even more exciting than usual!

X3000i" gaming projector with 4LED light source

Saiga NAK

And when we say big screen, we don't just mean monitors!
The 4K gaming projector " X3000i," which was released on March 30, 2022, was also on display.
With a high brightness of 3,000 ANSI lumens, the 4LED light source ( RGBB) delivers 8-12% more brightness than a typical LED light source.
In addition to the beautiful graphics with CinematicColor technology, the X3000i offers the industry's highest refresh rate of 240Hz and low input latency with a response time of 4ms, ensuring smooth game play.

Saiga NAK

In our hands-on experience with the X3000i, the difference in input latency was almost the same compared to the monitor, so we felt that playing games on the X3000i may be more enjoyable, depending on the game genre.
The manual horizontal trapezoidal correction function (up to 30 degrees) allows projection at an angle and projection onto a 100-inch screen at a distance of 2.5 meters, making it possible to set up the monitor in any location, even in a small room.

New information after October!

The release date and price of the monitors introduced here have yet to be determined, but they will be announced in October or later, so be sure to check the official BenQ website and official Twitter!
