In addition to exhibits looking back on the company’s 30-year history, original materials from the development era, and photo spots, 1,200 copies of the “Chaser Game” comic book will be distributed for free.
The “CyberConnect2 Exhibition” is coming to TGS 2026! The event will feature exhibits looking back on 30 years of history and showcase development materials.
CyberConnect2 will be exhibiting at the “Tokyo Game Show 2026,” to be held at Makuhari Messe from Thursday, September 17, 2026, through Monday, September 21, 2026 (a national holiday).
CyberConnect2 is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2026 and has been holding a series of 30th-anniversary commemorative events titled “CyberConnect2 Exhibition – Entertainment Filled with ‘Love’ and ‘Passion’ – ” across all 47 prefectures of Japan since June.
At TGS 2026, the company will participate under the theme “IN Chiba” at its general exhibition booth “02-N06” in Hall 2.
At the venue, visitors will be greeted by special decorations and a monument featuring the 30th-anniversary logo.
It has been reported that no announcements regarding new titles are scheduled.

The display brings together CyberConnect2’s 30-year history and the “heart-stirring iconic lines” from the company’s original titles—including manga, games, TV dramas, and movies—all in one place.
In addition to CyberConnect2’s flagship games and visual works—such as the " .hack " series, " Tale Concerto," and the " Battlefield Fugue " series—the exhibition will also feature manga titles like " Chaser Game," as well as TV dramas and movies.

Exclusive to TGS 2026! Original development materials on display
Exclusive to the TGS 2026 venue, a special exhibition of original development materials from the time of these titles’ creation.
You can view materials such as Nobuteru Yuki’s “Tale Concerto ” and “Solatorobo: Then to CODA, ” as well as Yoshiyuki Sadamoto’s “.hack ” series.
In addition, development materials—including rough sketches and storyboards for each original title—will be on display.
Visitors are welcome to pick these up and browse through them.

There will also be photo spots themed around the original titles that CyberConnect2 has been developing for the past 30 years.

1,200 Copies of the "Chaser Game" Manga to Be Given Away for Free! Plus Special Gifts for Attendees
To commemorate its first appearance at TGS, CyberConnect2 will be giving away a total of 1,200 copies of the " Chaser Game " manga—a workplace manga based on an original story by CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama ( @PIROSHI_CC2 ) and illustrated by Kotaro Matsushima ( @matsushima_cc2 ).
From September 19 (Sat), 2026—the first day of the public exhibition—through September 21 (Mon, holiday), the first 400 visitors each day will receive one randomly selected volume from Volumes 8 through 14 of “Chaser Game.”
The volumes will be handed out in original "" .hack//Z.E.R.O. " and " Fugue on the Battlefield " shopping bags.
