"Tokyo eSports Festa 2027 Pre-Event in Tama" will be held on October 3! Special guest: "Gonaha," a Taiko no Tatsujin player

A pre-event for the " Tokyo eSports Festa 2027," scheduled for Friday, January 22, through Sunday, January 24, 2027, will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026!
In addition to stage events featuring special guests, a variety of activities will be held, including esports tryouts and workshops.

The Tokyo eSports Festa 2027 Tama Pre-Event is Coming!

The “Tokyo eSports Festa,” which will mark its 8th edition in 2027,
will host a pre-event on Saturday, October 3, 2026, with the aim of building excitement for the event and promoting eSports in the Tama region.

Taiko no Tatsujin player “Gonaha” will appear at the stage event!

Game streamer Goniha ( @goniha528 ), who is active as a “Taiko no Tatsujin” player, will take the stage at the event.
He’ll face off against participants in “Taiko no Tatsujin: Don-Dful Festival” and host a talk show.

There will also be a “Taiko no Tatsujin” score attack tournament for elementary school students and younger.
The top 10 finishers will receive commemorative gifts.

"Taiko no Tatsujin: Don-Dafuru Festival" e-sports experience event coming soon!

On the day of the event, an esports experience session using “Taiko no Tatsujin: Dondafuru Festival ” and “Puyo Puyo Esports ” is scheduled to take place.
This year, Puyo Puyo has been added to the lineup of games available for the experience session, in addition to Taiko no Tatsujin.
Be sure to experience the thrill of intense matches for yourself.

• 3:00 PM – 3:55 PM: Score Attack in “Taiko no Tatsujin”!
• 12:00–17:00: Esports Experience Zones, Workshops, and Grand Raffle

Calling for Exhibitors for the Esports Industry Trade Show!

We are currently accepting applications from exhibitors for the esports industry exhibition.
The application deadline is 5:00 PM on Friday, October 30, 2026.
Early-bird benefits are available, so be sure to apply soon!

To apply, please fill out the required information on the “Exhibitor Application Form” available on the Tokyo eSports Festa official website.

Entries are now being accepted for the esports game development contest!

The “Tokyo eSports Festa 2027” will feature an eSports Game Development Contest!
Winners will receive free exhibition space at the event, opportunities to give presentations, and PR support.
In addition to creators in the Professional Division—such as small and medium-sized enterprises and sole proprietors based in Tokyo—students and pupils residing or attending school in Tokyo are also eligible to apply in the Student Division.
Team entries are also accepted, so be sure to give it a try.

The application deadline for the Professional Division is Friday, November 6, 2026, at 5:00 PM, and for the Student Division , it is Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 4:59 PM.
To apply, please fill out the required information on the “Contest Entry Form” available on the Tokyo eSports Festa official website and submit your entry.
