On Wednesday, March 18, 2026, the USJ area Super Nintendo World reached its 5th anniversary.
On that day, Naniwa Danshi (@728_Storm) appeared as surprise guests!
They helped liven up the celebratory ceremony with Mario and others at Super Star Plaza within the area.

Yoshi Makes a New Appearance in Meet & Greets Where You Can Meet Characters!
Yoshi makes a new appearance for a limited time during the 5th anniversary in Meet & Greets, where you can meet characters such as Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Toad!
- Yoshi appearance period: Wednesday, March 18, 2026 – Monday, January 11, 2027
Additionally, you can meet Donkey Kong deep in the jungle within the area!

Inside the area, Mario and others will hold a march to collect Super Stars scattered all over.

Princess Peach asks Toad to fetch some Super Stars from a box for a special touch.
But when he opens it … the Super Stars burst out in every direction!Now things are glowing with invincible, colorful energy, sending everyone’s excitement to a whole new level.
Collect Super Stars and Get an Exclusive Sticker!
The adventure to collect stars is also something visitors to the park can experience.
If you find a star in the area and report it to a crew member, you can get a specially designed sticker!

Eligible Stars include stars depicted on the 5th anniversary limited Power-Up Bands and Popcorn Buckets, as well as photos taken of star designs hidden within the area.
