The 25th anniversary commemorative item for the series, Leaf Statue, has been available in Animal Crossing: New Horizons since Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
By updating to the latest version (Ver.3.0.2), you can receive it from your mailbox at home.

On the official Nintendo island, Ninten Island, the original Custom Design Animal Crossing (NINTENDO 64) has been released.
The package art of the first game in the series, Animal Crossing, has been recreated as a Custom Design.
You can bring back Custom Designs from Ninten Island, which you can visit by providing a Dream Address to Luna while on your bed at home, or you can receive them from the Custom Design Portal located in the Able Sisters shop.

Music from Animal Crossing+ Has Been Added to Nintendo Music!
Game music from the Nintendo GameCube software Animal Crossing+ is now available on Nintendo Music, a smartphone app for Nintendo Switch Online members.
A total of 158 songs are being distributed, including tracks from Animal Crossing (NINTENDO 64) and Animal Crossing+ (Nintendo GameCube).
In certain playlists such as Sunny Day and Spring Day, you can use the Play at Current Time feature to enjoy Animal Crossing music that matches the actual time of day.
