Square Enix has announced a new smartphone game, " Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy. The game is scheduled to be released on iOS and Android in 2026, and closed beta test participants are being accepted from October 14, 2025 (Tuesday).

The new different story takes place in the present day. ---- A giant crystal appears in the city of Tokyo, shining blue. The crystal blends into people's daily lives, and its presence has become commonplace. But the peace and quiet suddenly comes to an end as unknown demons emerge from the mysterious miasma that contaminates the crystal, leaving the people on the brink of despair. People have come to call them "ghosts." ・・・・・・

"DISSIDIA DUELM FINAL FANTASY " is the latest title in the "Dissidia Final Fantasy" series, featuring many warriors from the "Final Fantasy" series. The game features " boss-killing team battles " in which players aim to defeat a giant demon boss faster than the opposing team in a 3-on-3 team battle. The game is simple to play with one hand and offers exhilarating action with a beautiful cell look.

The setting is modern-day Tokyo, where warriors of the past have been summoned. In addition to the fully-voiced main story, there are also short episodes depicting the daily lives of the warriors. Many of the abilities that can be set for each character are illustrated by a team of gorgeous creators.

The closed beta test is now accepting participants!

• Recommended iOS system requirements: 14.0 or later, iPhone 12 or later (4GB or more system memory)
• Recommended Android system requirements: 11.0 or later (Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or later, 6GB or more system memory)
• Application period: October 14, 2025 (Tue) - October 28, 2025 (Tue) 23:59
• Number of applicants: 20,000 (iOS: 10,000, Android: 10,000)
