It was announced that Castlevania, Japan's iconic gothic horror masterpiece released by Konami in 1986, will appear in the asymmetrical competitive multiplayer horror game Dead by Daylight (hereafter DbD).
The PTB for the collaboration chapter "Dead by Daylight: Castlevania" will be available for a limited time on Steam, starting at 12:00 AM on Wednesday, August 7, 2024.

In this chapter, the new Killer, "Dracula," and the new Survivor, "Trevor Belmont," are joining the Fog.

Dracula from "Castlevania" appears in "DbD" as the first vampire.
Dracula's characteristic ability to transform into various forms in "Castlevania" is also featured in this game.
The Ability of the Shapeshifter to Transform into Various Forms
The ability of the Shapeshifter, which allows him to transform into various forms—the Vampire, the Bat, and the Wolf—is specialized for tracking Survivors. Dracula, a merciless hunter, tracks Survivors by sniffing out the scent of fresh blood in these forms: the Vampire, who stalks its prey and produces flames that scorch even bone; the Bat, who silently creeps in like a shadow to close the distance with Survivors by exploiting a moment of weakness; and the Wolf, who possesses a keen sense of smell.
New Survivor, Descendant of the Cursed Belmont Clan: Trevor Belmont
The Belmont clan has suffered hardships and been exiled for generations, caught between humanity and the forces of darkness, and is considered a Cursed Bloodline.
The new Survivor challenging the Entity's Realm is Trevor Belmont, a descendant of the Belmont clan.
Trevor first appeared in "Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse," released in 1989.
Trevor's ability to find allies and demonstrate teamwork—qualities that have been essential to the Belmont clan's survival in overcoming many hardships—will likely help him escape difficult situations in DbD.
