The highlight of this Apple Event was the latest smartphone, the iPhone 15 Pro. But there was also exciting news for gamers. Capcom is bringing the survival horror games Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Village to the iPhone!

Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Village playable on iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max!
The A17 Pro chipset in iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max delivers the power to play AAA console titles on a mobile device without the need for widespread cloud gaming. That's impressive!
Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Village run on Capcom's proprietary game engine, RE ENGINE, and are optimized for the iPhone. Monster Hunter Rise and Street Fighter 6 also run on the RE ENGINE.
Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Village can be played with on-screen touch controllers, but they also support Bluetooth-compatible controllers such as DUALSHOCK 4 and DualSense. Touch controllers may be convenient for quick games during short waits or on the train, but if you're settling in for a longer gaming session at home, using a controller is definitely recommended!
Each game can be enjoyed on all iPads and Macs equipped with the M1 chip or later. In addition, Resident Evil 4 supports universal purchase, meaning that once you purchase the game, you can enjoy it on all platforms under the same Apple ID, including iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Please note that the previously released Mac version of Resident Evil Village does not support universal purchase.
The iPhone versions of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Village are scheduled for release in 2023. Pricing has not yet been confirmed, but considering the 2023 release date, we can expect an announcement soon. The iPhone 15 Pro, with features like ray tracing support, is definitely worth keeping an eye on for gaming purposes!
