It has been announced that Lara Croft, the protagonist of the hit series "Tomb Raider," will appear as a new Survivor in the asymmetrical multiplayer horror game "Dead by Daylight" (hereafter DbD).
The Public Test Build (PTB) for the "Dead by Daylight: Tomb Raider" Chapter is currently underway for a limited time on Steam, having started on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 12:00 AM, ahead of the official release in July 2024.
Lara Croft's First Step into the World of Horror

Lara Croft is a highly capable archaeologist and adventurer who has faced and survived life-and-death situations unlike any other.
The next place she sets foot in is the Fog.
While this is her first challenge in the horror domain of "DbD," given her experiences narrowly escaping death time and again in narrow underground passages, graveyards, and confrontations with fierce beasts, it seems likely that Lara Croft will overcome this.

Players will attempt to escape by taking on the role of Lara Croft, who is trapped in the Entity's realm, but this time Lara is not equipped with her signature bow and guns.
However, her greatest weapons—her tenacity, extensive survival skills, and bravery—are expressed through three unique perks.
Let's survive in the Fog by utilizing the unique perks that appear.
Lara Croft's Perks

Finesse
PR TIMESFinesse activates when you are in the uninjured state.
Its effect is a 20% increase in the speed of fast vaults, and after performing a fast vault, it enters a cooldown of 40–30 seconds.
Hardened
PR TIMESHardened activates when you open a chest or cleanse/bless a totem.
When Hardened is active, instead of screaming when you would normally scream, you are able to see the Killer's aura for 3–5 seconds.
Specialist
PR TIMESSpecialist activates its effect and grants you 1 Token when you open or rummage through a chest, and you can stock up to 3 Tokens.
Additionally, when you land a great skill check on a generator, all stocked Tokens are consumed, and the required charge on the Generator is reduced by 2–4%, depending on the number of Tokens consumed.

The "Dead by Daylight: Tomb Raider" Chapter, for which the PTB has begun on Steam, is scheduled for release on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 on Steam, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Epic Games Store, Windows Store, and Nintendo Switch.
