Fennel, the company behind the professional e-sports team FENNEL, announced today that it has signed a sponsorship agreement with Razer, a gaming device manufacturer. On Tuesday, August 1, 2023, it was announced that FENNEL, a professional e-sports team, and Razer, a gaming device manufacturer, have signed a sponsorship agreement.
Razer, with its striking triple-headed snake logo, is based in the United States and Singapore and has offices in 19 countries around the world. The company offers a full range of products from gaming devices such as headsets, mice, keyboards, and controllers to gaming laptops and desktop PCs.
Meanwhile, FENNEL, a professional e-sports team established in 2019, has the largest gaming base in Japan in Yokohama, with about 70 players and streamers in 10 divisions. The team also operates a tournament management business and an apparel business, and is one of the most active e-sports teams in Japan today. Most recently, the League of Legends division placed third in the LJL 2023 Summer Split regular season and is currently competing in the playoffs.
The sponsorship agreement between FENNEL and Razer has synergies not only in the competitive e-sports scene, but also in the tournament management business and apparel business.
