The wildly popular fighting game " GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE- " (hereinafter "GGST") celebrates its 5th anniversary on Thursday, June 11, 2026!
Furthermore, the Guilty Gear series as a whole is celebrating its 28th anniversary this year.
To commemorate these milestones, the official program " Guilty Gear Series 28th Anniversary & GGST 5th Anniversary Commemorative Special! " has been announced.

Newly drawn illustrations by the development team to commemorate the "GGST" 5th anniversary have been released!

To celebrate the 5th anniversary of GGST’s release, an original illustration by Guilty Gear development team 2D artist Shoichi Kitazono ( @kitazonoshoichi ) has been unveiled!
It’s a rock-inspired piece featuring Sol, Kai, and Happy Chaos—characters that symbolize GGST.
Since these three characters are often seen in tournament scenes, they’re sure to keep causing a stir in the future.

Official Program "Guilty Gear Series 28th Anniversary & GGST 5th Anniversary Commemorative Special!" to Air!

The official program " Guilty Gear Series 28th Anniversary & GGST 5th Anniversary Commemorative Special! " is set to premiere on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 7:00 PM on the official "arcsystemworks" YouTube channel!
The program is divided into two parts: Part 1, featuring the Guilty Gear development team led by Taisuke Ishiwata, looking back on the series’ 28-year history; and Part 2, featuring star guests including pro gamer Churara, discussing the appeal of GGST.
This will be a pre-recorded video release, not a live broadcast.
