With the major update to KOF 2002 UM, a new rollback system has been implemented for the netcode of online matches!
The rollback method is a system that minimizes delays in communication by predicting the input of subsequent player inputs based on previously entered information when there is a communication delay.
This reduces lag in online matches, making them more enjoyable.
When the network is smooth, there are times when rollback is not necessary, right? In such a case, you can set the rollback to match your connection conditions.
From the " Main Menu → Play & Options → Settings → NETWORK SETTING " you can set the maximum delay input to 0-30, the minimum delay input to 0 or the same as the maximum delay input, the delay input display and SHOW NAMES ON/OFF.

The beta test for this update was a great success, recording the largest number of players ever since the Steam version was released, and now that the rollback system has been officially implemented, KOF 2002 UM will be even more exciting!
