Wizards of the Coast, creator of the world's first trading card game "Magic: The Gathering", designated 2027 as The Year of the Gathering, with plans for new product launches and fan events!
A total of six sets—alternating between Multiverse-themed sets and Universes Beyond sets—will launch, and the official fan event, MagicCon, will take place across four cities worldwide, including Japan.

In addition, the latest information on the late 2026 new sets, Reality Fracture and Magic: The Gathering | The Hobbit, was revealed!

In 2027, Japan joins as a host location for the very first time, spanning four cities across three continents!
