The PlayStation 5, Sony's next generation game console, was unveiled today at the "PS5 - THE FUTURE OF GAMING SHOW".

The controller was announced recently, but this is the first time in the world that the console itself has been unveiled.

A futuristic design befitting a next-generation console

The PlayStation 5 is designed in white, which is a contrast to the black color used for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, with the exception of the first-generation console. The design is different from the image of "PlayStation" up to now.

The curves are beautiful and the pale Prestige blue(?) shines through. The color of the body is black.

Of course, the PlayStation logo is on it.

The front is like this, and you can see the USB port.

While PS2 and PS4 had a linear design, PS5 has curved lines like PS3.

I am wondering if it can be placed horizontally because of the curves.

Digital Edition also announced!

A "PlayStation 5 Digital Edition" without a disc drive was also announced.

The digital edition may be available at a lower price.

This time, only the design of the console was revealed, and detailed specifications were not yet announced.
