A free update, "Ver. 2.0.0," for the Nintendo Switch 2 title "Poko a Pokémon" is set to be released on Wednesday, August 5, 2026!
This update will introduce a new move: "Dive. "
Additionally, starting Thursday, August 13, 2026, the limited-time in-game event " Collect Hinbas's Beautiful Scales " will begin.
This is your chance to become friends with Hinbas, Milocaros, and more!
The new move "Dive"! Now you can play freely even underwater.

How to Learn the "Diving" Move
"Diving" lets you swim freely underwater.
To learn "Diving," you must meet the following two conditions!
- Complete the request “Let’s Raise the Environment Level Even Higher!” in “Gloomy Seaside Town”
- Learn the moves "Jump" and "Surf"
Once you’ve met these conditions, Manaphy will teach you “Diving.”
Note that you can befriend Manaphy in the paid downloadable content “Bubbling Seabed Town,” which will be available starting Wednesday, August 5, 2026, just like the free update.
Use "Diving" to build towns underwater! You’ll also be able to ride the mine cart underwater
Once you learn “Diving,” you’ll be able to enjoy swimming with Water-type Pokémon, create relaxing spots and fields underwater, and greatly expand the scope of your daily life!
