PRAGE Inc. has started a support system for working professionals competing in Pokémon Double Battles.
In conjunction, the official website for the Pokémon Double Battle competitive team Team PRAGE was released on Monday, December 1, 2025.
Pokémon World Championship Team Launched: Balancing Work and Competition

Official tournaments, in particular, are played in "Double Battles," where players send out two Pokémon each to battle 2-on-2.
For the World Championships, just coordinating the players' practice time and scheduling their tournament appearances becomes a significant burden.
Furthermore, the costs for overseas travel and accommodation for tournament participation are by no means cheap for individual players to cover.
Considering this situation, PRAGE established a system to support competitors who challenge the world stage.
Specifically, they will be carrying out the following:
- Hiring and supporting players who have World Championship qualification, or those with equivalent skills, as official members.
- A flexible system for taking time off for official tournaments, training camps, and overseas expeditions.
- Financial support for players who are seriously committed to Double Battles.
- The launch and continuous support of an in-house competitive team (club activity).
- Creating an environment based on the premise of balancing work and competitive activities.
The team that will be challenging tournaments under this system is Team PRAGE.
Currently, two players have been announced:
- Candy (@sdlnfo)
- SHIZU (@sasisu_memo)
Both players have competed in the Pokémon World Championships and continue to battle as competitors today.
We look forward to seeing how far they can advance now that they are fully committing to Pokémon battles with support.
