On July 22, 2019, CAPCOM Taiwan announced ROCKMAN X DiVE, a smartphone app for iOS / Android.
What is ROCKMAN X?
ROCKMAN X is a series of action games, the first of which was released in 1993 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES).
The game depicts a world 100 years after the first game in the ROCKMAN series, which was released for the Family Computer in 1987, and retains the familiar ROCKMAN style of using the weapons of enemy boss characters. The numbered titles up to "ROCKMAN X8" released in 2005 are available.

Not a sequel, but a spin-off
"ROCKMAN X DiVE" is not a sequel to the ROCKMAN X series, but a spin-off featuring the characters from the previous games.
The "Deep Log", where the data of the Mega Man X series is recorded, has an error, and the worlds of each series become confused.
Players will have to navigate their way through the confusing worlds in order to restore the worlds.
