Who's the Anarchy Ruler!? The Online Tournament "Splatoon 3 Anarchy Ruler Championship" is Announced! Entry Begins!

The Splatoon 3 Grand Festival, the biggest festival in history, was held from Friday, September 13, 2024, to Monday, September 16, 2024.
The Present team had an overwhelming lead in votes and the number of conch shells obtained during the Preliminary Fest, but in the final results, the Past team came out on top in all the battles! The Past team won a brilliant victory!
The Past team had the Squid Sisters as their supporters, which gave the impression that there were a lot of veteran players who had been playing since the first Splatoon, and they were quite strong. But, the Present team and the Future team all did their best!
With the "Grand Festival," the regular content additions that were announced to last for two years from the game's release will come to an end, but happily, it's been announced that special seasonal festivals like "Splatoween" and Big Run will be held again!
It was also announced that the Team Contest will be held with new content, so it's a great thing that Splatoon 3 is still going strong.
Even so, with the "Grand Festival" having just ended in such a big way, you'd think the events would be taking a break for a little while... but no! The next event has already been announced!

Held in Four "Anarchy Battle" Modes!

The "Splatoon 3 Anarchy Ruler Championship" is an online tournament for Nintendo Switch's Splatoon 3.
Many online tournaments for Splatoon 3 have been held up until now, but this one, as the name "Anarchy Ruler Playoff" suggests, will be held in all four of the "Anarchy Battle" modes: Splat Zones, Tower Control, Rainmaker, and Clam Blitz!
Even during regular play, Anarchy Battles feel more tense than Turf War, so a tournament dedicated to these modes will surely be a truly fierce battle.
Each mode will have an in-game preliminary Event Match, and the top 8 teams will advance to the "Final Tournament." The winning team will be certified as the ruler of that mode.
Entry has already begun, but since the deadlines for each mode's entry, as well as the dates for the preliminary Event Match and Final Tournament, are different, here they are all at once!

While becoming the ruler in each division is, of course, a great achievement, it's only natural to wonder which team is the strongest in "Anarchy Battles" once the rulers for all four modes have been decided.
The four ruler teams from each division—the "Tower Control Ruler," the "Clam Blitz Ruler," the "Rainmaker Ruler," and the "Splat Zones Ruler"—will face off in the "Grand Finals" on Saturday, December 21, 2024!

The "Grand Finals" will be played in all four "Anarchy Battle" modes!
While a team that has become a ruler in its respective division is surely good at that mode, these are grueling rules where they will have to fight in the other modes as well!
It's truly tough, but also fun, to not only hone your skills to become the top team in your division, but also to have to hone your skills in the other modes.
Of course, you might have modes you're good at and modes you're not, so the preparations leading up to the event will likely vary from team to team, whether they focus on practicing their strong modes or work on improving their skills in a balanced way.
By the way, the Final Tournament and Grand Finals will be streamed on YouTube Live and on Niconico Live, which has made a great comeback, so even if you've decided not to participate this time, or if you've been eliminated in the preliminaries, let's all watch the moment the "Anarchy Ruler" is born!

Entry for the "Splatoon 3 Anarchy Ruler Championship" is currently open!
As mentioned before, the entry deadlines are different for each division, so be sure to enter early!
To enter, you'll need to log in with your Nintendo Account, and that account must be the same one you'll use for the tournament.
If you participate in the tournament with a different account from the one you used to enter, your participation will be invalid, so be sure to check carefully when you enter!
