Instead of paying for the game, players can become stronger by "observing stools.
Uncore is a smartphone game application that anthropomorphizes intestinal bacteria developed with the aim of improving the colorectal cancer screening rate. It is not a game in which anthropomorphic intestinal bacteria appear.
The feature of the game is that players can obtain characters in the game by "observing stools (reporting feces) " instead of paying for them.
Players get mica as a bonus for making a guanbun report, and can use the mica to draw gacha.
By observing a bowel movement, the player reports to the in-game character the details of the day's bowel movement.
Depending on the reported information, the player can receive health advice, and if an abnormal stool shape is reported, a message will appear recommending a visit to a medical institution, thereby supporting the player's own health management.
The game also includes a lot of other mini-information that makes medical information fun and familiar, making it possible to enjoy learning while playing.
The story behind the birth of "UnColle" to deliver medical information to as many people as possible
Mr. Yosuke Ishii, the president of the Un-Colle Production Committee, was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis when he was in his first year of high school, and at the age of 19, his condition worsened and he was forced to have a colostomy to excrete stools from his abdomen.
One day, while depressed that he would never be able to return to a normal life, Mr. Ishii read a post on an anonymous Internet message board that said there was a way to close the artificial anus.
He immediately visited the hospital where the surgeon was located and had the operation performed.
This single piece of information changed his life dramatically, and he has since gone on to become a surgeon.
While working as a surgeon himself, he wondered how he could deliver medical information to the 15-year-old Ishii, who was used to playing video games and watching cartoons, and came to the conclusion that he should put medical information in a game.
After seven years of work, "Unkore" was created entirely by volunteers.
The name "Uncore" alone is enough to draw you in, but everything in this work is produced by volunteers.
The program, illustrations, music, and dialogues are all produced by volunteers, with full BGM and full voices.
At first glance, the game seems to be a joke, but in fact, it is a very serious game, so please check the official website and Twitter for details.
