Princeton, a computer peripheral manufacturer, announces the USB3.1 Gen2-compatible gaming SSD " PHD-GSU " series from its " ULTRA PLUS " gaming brand.
Compact, Lightweight and High Performance
The PHD-GSU is a portable SSD with a USB 3.1 Gen2 interface and a built-in NVMe-connected SSD.
The maximum transfer rate is 1000MB/s, which allows users to enjoy a more comfortable playing experience.
The new SSD effectively dissipates heat through a thermal conductive sheet into the highly heat-dissipating aluminum case and prevents performance degradation through temperature management using a built-in sensor.
The main unit measures (W)103 x (H)10.6 x (D)32 mm and weighs approximately 45 g, making it compact and lightweight. Not only is it easy to carry around, but it also comes with two types of cables (USB Type-A connector and Type-C connector), so it can be connected to any device.

The product has been tested on PS4/PS4 Pro home gaming consoles and is also compatible with Windows and Mac.
Price and Release Date
The 480GB and 960GB models will be available in two different capacities, with the 480GB model priced at 20,800 JPY (tax not included) and the 960GB model at 36,400 JPY (tax not included).
They are scheduled to go on sale on April 22, 2019.
