Shichijo Ganshundo, a long-established Kyoto confectioner founded in 1865, will release its second batch of Kyoto sweets featuring Pokémon! After an online pre-sale on January 22, 2024 (Mon.) at the official Shichijo Ganshundo website, in-store sales will begin on February 3, 2024 (Sat.) at the Kyoto Main Store and the Kitasenju Marui Store.
Pokemon-inspired Kyoto sweets appear again
Shichijo Ganshundo, founded in 1865, will once again release Kyoto-style confections featuring Pokémon! In this second installment of "Pokemon Kyo-gashi," Pokemon associated with winter events will appear in the form of Kami-nama-gashi, fuyaki, and dried confections.

Pikachu, Alola Rokon, Onigoori, and Dharmakka are available as josegashi! Josegashi is a confectionery using traditional Japanese confectionery techniques, and is handmade by Shichijo Ganshundo using high-quality ingredients and water from the Higashiyama mountains in Kyoto.

Pokemon fuyaki winter (3 pieces)
Pikachu (male/female), Juniper, Meowha, and scenes and events of Kyoto in winter are reproduced in this fuyaki. A fuyaki sembe is a sweet rice cracker carefully baked from glutinous rice and characterized by its gentle texture. The pictures are hand-drawn by artisans.

Lottery sales of "Pokemon Kamigami Sweets Winter
Pokemon Kamisegashi Winter" will be sold by lottery at the Kyoto Main Store and Kitasenju Marui Store. Since the number of sweets made per day is limited, the lottery will be held on three separate days. Winners will be asked to visit either the Kyoto Main Store or the Kitasenju Marui Store to purchase the product.
