SNK Corporation began distributing "Real Bout Fatal Fury 2: THE NEWCOMERS" on Steam starting Sunday, September 28, 2025.
This 2D fighting game features the distinctive characters of the "Fatal Fury" series who engage in fast-paced, exhilarating battles.

Evolved Features of "Real Bout Fatal Fury 2: The Newcomers"

The Steam version retains the original graphics and controls while implementing rollback netcode to ensure stable online matches.

Furthermore, in addition to an online lobby feature that can accommodate up to 9 players and a spectator mode, it also includes a tournament function that allows you to select the competition format from single elimination, double elimination, and league play.
These enhanced features create a competitive environment that is more exciting than ever before.

A total of 23 characters—the largest number in the series—are playable.
In addition to staples like Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui, new challengers Li Xiangfei and Rick Strowd, as well as the secret character Alfred, have been added, allowing for a rich variety of matches.

The new features include an online lobby that can host up to 9 participants and a tournament mode offering single elimination, double elimination, and league play.
