Sound is a very important factor when playing games, whether you are enjoying powerful sound or listening to delicate sounds such as footsteps.
There are many high-performance gaming headsets on the market from various manufacturers, and everyone has his or her own preference for design and sound, not to mention performance.
Most gaming headsets are produced by gaming device manufacturers, but when it comes to sound, audio manufacturers specialize!
As we previously reported on Saiga NAK, the world-renowned audio manufacturer JBL has released a gaming set, and they have provided us with their top-of-the-line model, the " JBL Quantum One "! Thank you so much!
We have just opened the package and would like to share with you how it looks like!
JBL Quantum One" Opening Ceremony!
First, let's start with the cool outer box.
Why is it that a well-constructed box makes you trust the quality of the product?
In addition to the image of "JBL Quantum One," the list of compatible devices is easy to understand.
Now to open the box!
The box is securely packed so that it won't move during shipping or transportation.
Check out what's included in the box!
The JBL Quantum One itself, instructions, and a detachable boom microphone.
Calibration microphone and 3.5mm audio cable.
It also contains a USB cable with a game chat balance dial between the cables.
Check out the JBL Quantum One!
The "JBL Quantum One" is a black-colored device.
The "JBL" logo is on the left and right ear cups, giving it a cool cyber look.
When you actually hold it in your hand, you can see that the construction is very solid.
Yuchan is astonished at how cool it is and how well made it is.
A construction that makes you feel the attention to detail
The left and right ear cups are clearly labeled LR.
The LR letters are placed on the inside of the ear cups so that they cannot be seen from the outside when the wearer is wearing the ear cups, which shows the attention to detail in the design.
The ear cups can be rotated to a flat position, which is convenient when wearing the ear cups around the neck.
The earpads are thick, yet comfortable to wear.
The detachable boom microphone can be connected with a 3.5mm connector or other one-touch connection.
It is easy to detach the microphone.
Terminals and controls are concentrated on the left ear cup.
The terminals include a boom microphone connection terminal, a 3.5mm audio cable connection terminal, and a USB Type-C terminal for connecting a USB cable.
As for controls, a microphone mute button, volume control dial, re-centering button for head tracking function, and a button for switching between active noise cancellation and talk-through are located.
Recently, there are more and more headphones with touch-sensor operation, but it is sometimes difficult to make fine adjustments with touch operation, so physical buttons and dials are the easiest to operate!
The "JBL" logo is also casually engraved on the headband.
It's also neat how it's not so noticeable.
The USB cable is USB Type-A, so it can be connected directly to a PC or a game console.
The game volume and chat volume can be controlled by operating the game chat balance dial mounted between the cables.
It is much more intuitive than using the earcups or operating the software while gaming.
Best of all, they look cool!
We've already given you a sneak peek of the JBL Quantum One, and it's just as cool looking as we thought it would be!
It has a heavy, cyber-like construction, but when you put it on, it's not as heavy as you might think, and it feels great!
However, since it is a headset, you must be concerned about the sound, right?
The true value of the headset made by the audio manufacturer "JBL" will be reported in the next "Acoustics (tentative)" article, so please wait a little longer.
You may think it looks chic, but... it turns out to be something else!
Stay tuned!
