But it has another sibling named "PLAUD NOTE"!
This product, released by high-performance AI voice recorder manufacturer "Nicebuild LLC," doesn't compromise on features and can be used in different ways. What's more, "PLAUD NOTE" can even record phone calls and generate AI summaries!

First, the package!

At first glance, you might think it's just the NOTE itself, but don't worry, the accessories are properly attached to the back of the box.
And the complete lack of unnecessary decoration is visually appealing.

And wow! It's incredibly thin.
I was surprised it could be this thin! It must be less than 1cm thick.

To avoid breaking it, there's a "magnetic case," so if you're prone to sitting on it, be sure to use it.
Plus, this thinness makes it easy to use without being bulky.

When you set this button to red, it goes into call recording mode, and when you set it to black, it becomes a regular voice recorder.

The included magnetic case fit perfectly on an iPhone 14.
It doesn't easily shift, but if you're using a thick case, it might not stick.
The magnetic case has a thick faux leather texture and gives a solid, calm impression that won't stand out in a business setting.

Since it's made of sturdy faux leather, you have to push it in a bit firmly to get it fully seated, so gals with longer nails than me should be careful not to break them.

It was quite difficult to remove the note from the case compared to putting it in.
However, there's a charging port hole on the back of the case, so there's currently no particular need to remove it, and it seems fine.
This is the magnetic ring.
The idea is to attach it to your device if the case doesn't stick, and then attach the "PLAUD NOTE."
The main unit itself is extremely thin, so the magnetic ring probably won't add much thickness.

Let's connect to the app
Scan the QR code in the instruction manual to install the dedicated app "PLAUD."
Once you're in the app, simply press the note's record start button, and it's that easy!
The recorded audio will be loaded into the app.
After recording, tap the audio file in the app and select "Generate"!
The dedicated app "PLAUD" can be used for free for a total recording time of up to 300 minutes!
This product, like the "PLAUD NotePin," has excellent reading accuracy.
What's more, the AI's summarization feature is incredibly convenient, significantly cutting down on time spent reviewing later.
Also, for important parts you want to listen to yourself, you can tap the corresponding part in the transcription to play the audio from that point.
Mind maps are also great for summarizing, making it easier to understand meetings.
Even if the AI mishears a little, it's okay!

What are the differences between them?
Comparing "PLAUD NOTE" and "PLAUD NotePin," while both are voice recorders, I felt their uses and situations differed.
"PLAUD NOTE" has a call recording function that can record both the other party's voice and your own voice during a call.
Also, because it's flat, it can be easily slipped into a pocket and taken out quickly, and it can also be attached with magnets, allowing for smart call recording!
On the other hand, "PLAUD NotePin" is designed to be worn on the body and can be attached to clips or straps.
