The announcement included the list of scheduled participants for the 20th Asian Games Esports Event Japan Representative Candidate Final Selection Tournament, as well as information on battle events for Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8, and the merchandise corner.

From the 20th Asian Games Esports Japan Representative Candidate Final Selection Tournament to be held at this event, the participants for the Japan representative candidate selection tournaments for Tekken 8, THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV, and Puyo Puyo Champions have been decided.
Regarding the participants for Street Fighter 6, eFootball, and Gran Turismo 7, it is reported that selections through tournaments and other means are currently being prepared.
For every title, the tournament will be conducted with 4 athletes, and the winner is scheduled to be recommended as a Final Candidate for the Japan Representative.

Street Fighter 6 Battle Event: Shachiken

The highly popular Street Fighter 6 battle event representing Nagoya has arrived for 2026!
The organizer, NTP Esports PLAZA, and Makky (@Esports_MAKKY) from the Nagoya-based professional esports team Nagoya NTPOJA have teamed up to appear.
Admission to the booth is free, and it is fully equipped with intense battles by veteran players, as well as trial play booths that beginners and families can enjoy.
Furthermore, a mini-tournament with luxurious prizes at stake is also scheduled to be held.
