True to its name Spiral, players can uncover the truth behind the story by grasping the tricks to conquering it through repeated play.
Unfortunately, it has been decided that Dungeon ∞ Spiral will close on Saturday, February 28, 2026.
Therefore, to express gratitude to the players who have played so far, three finale projects are scheduled to be held.
The first finale project, DUNGEON ∞ SPIRAL Rank Battle, was held from Saturday, December 27, 2025, to Sunday, January 18!

(The following blockquotes are translated from Japanese.)
— What was necessary for victory?
Yuuki Konno: First is to find wonderful party members who will run with you.
And, of course, luck is also important.
Also, unchanged since the predecessor Sword Art Online Anomaly Quest, I think it is a never-giving-up heart!
Saiga NAK— Do you usually train your body?
Yuuki Konno: I might have been trained just by Dungeon ∞ Spiral (laughs).
— How many times did you challenge it this time?
Yuuki Konno: I challenged it about 50 times during the period.
Especially yesterday, I worked hard and challenged it about 6 times, so my body is falling apart (laughs).
Winner of the 3-Person Party Division is Dragon Witch

- 1st: Dragon Witch (Yuuki Konno, Hotaru/Dragon Witch, Yuzuki)
- 2nd: Dragon Witch (LLENN, Hotaru/Dragon Witch, Fukaziroh)
- 3rd: Dragon Witch (Hotaru/Dragon Witch, Ayaya, Hiromu)
- 4th: FNM (Nanoha Nanaka, Fukaziroh, Mighty)

- 8th: Dragon Witch (Hotaru/Dragon Witch, Fukaziroh, Mighty)
- 9th: Shin'en no Hebi x Sleeping Knights I (Hajime Honda, Yuuki Konno, Mighty)
- 10th: LPFM (LLENN, Fukaziroh, Mighty)
Saiga NAK(The following blockquotes are translated from Japanese.)
— Please give us your honest thoughts!
Yuzuki: I'm happy because this is the result of doing my best without thinking much about the score.
Yuuki Konno: Yuzuki and I were competing for 1st place in the 2-person party division, and I was on edge because I didn't know when I would be overtaken (laughs).
Unlike me, who challenges it repeatedly and aims for a high score, getting a high score in one go is truly impressive.
Hotaru/Dragon Witch: We were able to monopolize all positions from 3rd to 1st with Dragon Witch! (laughs)
I've been serious about Dungeon ∞ Spiral since its early days, and I believe this is the result of playing with many people and exchanging information, so I am truly grateful.
I didn't want to just win by myself, so I gave advice so that my comrades could also place high, and I'm happy that everyone ranked.
Interview With Special Presenter Haruka Tomatsu!
Saiga NAK(The following blockquotes are translated from Japanese.)
— Please tell us your thoughts on today
Tomatsu: While appearing in the work Sword Art Online, I learned about the wonderfulness of the bonds formed by forming a party and cooperating with comrades to defeat bosses, and everyone here is exactly like that.
Looking at the comments from the winners and everyone's expressions, I felt quite moved.
It was a great honor to be given the important role of honoring everyone who worked hard, and I think it was a very happy award ceremony from start to finish.
I was able to directly feel that these are the people who have worked so hard!
— Performing 4 roles by yourself also became a topic of conversation
Tomatsu: In Dungeon ∞ Spiral, I played the avatar GITAI types: TYPE:KARATE, TYPE:FIGURESKATING, TYPE:FENCING, and TYPE:PINGPONG.
In a world where one person per role is the norm, being told to do this many voices is the greatest honor for an actor.
Since everyone was a unique main character, I had a desire to play them across a wide range while adding a little playfulness.
There were both cool characters and cute characters, so differentiating them with voice and acting was a difficult part, but I also felt it was rewarding.

— Actually, it seems there was a phantom 5th role?
Tomatsu: That's right!
There was also a Volleyball avatar GITAI, but it seems it ended up being scrapped because it couldn't be integrated well into the system due to being too tall.
Since it was tall, I remember recording it while imagining a slightly lower and cool-sounding voice.
— Dungeon ∞ Spiral is an action RPG that uses both brains and physical strength, but are you good at sports?
Tomatsu: I didn't have experience being in a sports club, and I wasn't extremely indoorsy either, but I was fast during my student days.
However, I'm already a full-grown adult, so if I challenge Dungeon ∞ Spiral with only the image of having been fast, I feel like I'll get injured (laughs).
Warm-up exercises are important!

— Dungeon ∞ Spiral's real thrill is challenging it repeatedly to aim for a high score, but is there anything you've been into and doing repeatedly recently?
Tomatsu: It's Tamagotchi Paradise!
Since I am of the generation where the original Tamagotchi was a perfect hit, I'm taking care of the Tamagotchi updated to the Reiwa version while feeling nostalgic (laughs).
Saiga NAK— Please give a shout-out to everyone who will take on the "Bellum Extermination Battle," which was also announced at the end of the award ceremony
Tomatsu: It has become easier to play than usual, with the bosses being easier to defeat and the conditions for the challenge being relaxed.
I want both beginners and those who haven't played for a while to definitely play at this opportunity, and if possible, I'd be happy if you listen to my character voices too!
If you're exercising intensely in Dungeon ∞ Spiral, you might not have the luxury for that... but if you miss it, just play one more time! (laughs)
Everyone, do your best in the "Bellum Extermination Battle"!

As the second finale event for Dungeon ∞ Spiral, the "Bellum Extermination Battle" is being held until Sunday, February 8, 2026!
This is a cooperative event where all players aim for the final subjugation of the dungeon boss, Bellum Sacrum.
During the event period, the condition for advancing to the extra quest is relaxed from 10,000 gold medals to 5,000 medals.
The health of the SPIRAL 1 boss Mephistopheles and the SPIRAL 2 boss Bellum Sacrum will be reduced, and it is said that the defeat success rate will be significantly improved.
In this event, there are no restrictions on the use of buddies or items, and there are no corrections to avatar levels.
The presiding deity of war, Bellum Sacrum, has 1,000 bodies, and for complete subjugation, it must be destroyed 1,000 times.
As of the end of business on Sunday, January 18, 2026, 598 bodies remain.
According to the number of subjugations, short stories will be published on the Dungeon ∞ Spiral official website and official X (@thetokyomatrix).
Furthermore, upon completion of the final subjugation, a previously unreleased short story and epilogue that clarify all the mysteries of Babel will be released.
Whether you have not yet played Dungeon ∞ Spiral or it has been a while, please take this opportunity to play and witness the end of the dungeon Babel together!
