The Japan Esports Union (hereinafter, JeSU) announced that it will hold "The power of e-sports to connect the future - JAPAN ESPORTS CONNECT-" at EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai for two days from Wednesday, July 23, 2025, to Thursday, July 24, 2025.
The event is expected to highlight the new social value of esports, where anyone can enjoy competition in the same environment, regardless of circumstance.
Promoting the Potential of Esports at the Osaka World Expo!
JeSU Official WebsiteEsports, a new form of competition in the information age where players compete in video games, is currently seeing a global surge in popularity, and that excitement is spreading to Japan.
In recent years, many competitive tournaments have been held across the country, and athletes who compete globally as top players have also emerged.
On the other hand, esports has the characteristic of allowing anyone to enjoy competing in the same environment, regardless of age, gender, or physical disability, and it is starting to gain attention as a universal sport.
