The four types we tasted this time were the following:
- PINK
- !!! (Bikkuri Umeshu)
- Buttermilk Liqueur
- French Toast Liqueur for Adults
They all have impressive names, as usual, but let's try them one by one!
First Up: PINK
- Genre: Japanese Sake
- Alcohol Content: 16%
- Manufacturer: SHIRASO SYUZOU (Tochigi Prefecture)

"PINK" is made using clear water and locally sourced rice from Tochigi Prefecture.
Since Tochigi is famous for strawberries, a flower yeast developed from a strawberry flower is used to give it a refreshingly sweet and sour taste and a lovely pink finish. No artificial coloring is used!

Kiyoaki: It's faintly sweet and sour, and I can smell the aroma of strawberries!
The aftertaste lingers well, but it's not too sweet; it's crisp and easy to drink, like a sake from Eastern Japan.
The bottle is also stylish and pink, so I think it's perfect for a gift!

Next is "!!! (Bikkuri Umeshu)" (Surprise Umeshu).
It is described as “an astonishingly sour umeshu that pursues extreme acidity” for those who find regular umeshu unsatisfactory. What will it be like...?
Kiyoaki: I'm nervous...
Kiyoaki: ...It's sour!!!!
Kiyoaki: I can smell the alcohol, but since it's 10%, it's very easy to drink.
It's genuinely sour, but the sourness isn't unpleasant; it has a strong sense of plum flesh.
It’s addictive—I feel like I could easily finish one bottle (laughs).
While it has a novelty feel, the taste is classic and genuinely delicious!

Next up is the "Buttermilk Liqueur."
This is a drink you... eat, by shaking the buttermilk pudding, which has solidified inside the bottle, to break it up and then drink it.
Kitaoka Honten, the manufacturer, has also released "Chocolate Pudding at 9 PM" and "The World of Anko and Butter" through KURAND.
Kiyoaki: The aroma of butter is amazing... Ahhh, it's sweet!
The decadent collaboration of alcohol and butter is fantastic.
It's like an adult pudding, or maybe a pudding with rum poured over it.
Kiyoaki: There's a subtle saltiness within the mild flavor.
Alcohol and pudding really do go well together.
Even though the alcohol content is 5%, I feel like I could get quite tipsy (laughs).
Becomes Adult French Toast When Poured on Bread: French Toast Liqueur for Adults

Finally, there's the "French Toast Liqueur for Adults."
This creamy, thick liqueur was developed with the intention of being poured over bread, offering a new alcoholic beverage experience.
Kiyoaki: When I try drinking it as is... it's sweet!!
Is it really allowed to drink or eat alcohol poured over bread...?
Kiyoaki: I didn't realize bread soaks up so much liquid (laughs).
I'll have it soaking wet.
Kiyoaki: Ohh! I see!
It completes a dessert so easily! I think the quality rivals that of a high-end restaurant.
If this were served at a home drinking party, the mood would certainly lift.
It's sweet, but it still has a strong sense of alcohol, so be careful not to eat too much!
It's delicious on its own, and if you garnish it with cinnamon, ice cream, or mint, it's good enough to serve in a shop.
My ideas for arrangement are overflowing...!
