The final match was a Best-of-9 (BO9) format between the overall champion team, Yokohama F. Marinos, and the Pro Division champion team, Levanga Hokkaido.
The two teams battled fiercely, but Yokohama F. Marinos, who won the first game, carried their momentum to win 4–1, splendidly securing the annual championship title and earning the right to participate in the "Shadowverse World Grand Prix 2025 Day 1" (1 player) and the "Shadowverse World Grand Prix 2025 Last Chance Qualifier" (2 players).

Agunomu (@agunomomoclo) of the winning team, Yokohama F. Marinos, shared his joy in the winning team interview.

― How did you feel the moment the victory was decided?

I felt apologetic because I made a mistake and lost my first match.
Because of that, I felt an equal mix of relief and joy that I was able to clinch the championship with my own play.

― What do you think was the turning point in today's match?

I think the greatest thing was that when we divided the classes each player would handle, our respective strong decks naturally complemented each other, allowing the team to form a composition without any weaknesses.
The balance of the players was perfect.

― What kind of strategy did you adopt for today's BO9 match format?

We thought the opposing team might have the impression that Yokohama F. Marinos was reluctant to use Forestcraft Roach Combo, so we intentionally selected Forestcraft Roach Combo for the first three decks.
For the remaining two decks, we chose the highly-rated Loot Swordcraft and Earth Rite Runecraft, and adopted a strategy of putting them forward along with Forestcraft Roach Combo.
Although the rule allows for the use of seven classes, the format was first to five wins, so we adopted the policy of committing strong, confident decks right from the start to establish a commanding lead.
I feel this strategy worked out well in the end.

― Please tell us about the biggest area where the team grew or changed throughout the season.

Since everyone has a job, it was difficult to align our schedules for regular gatherings; this required individual effort.
However, I believe that this environment ultimately led each person to adopt a proactive mindset toward effort and strengthened our motivation to improve each other.

― Following this championship win, what is your next goal?

Since one member from the team can compete as a representative in the Shadowverse World Grand Prix 2025, no matter who is chosen, we will fully support them and aim for the championship!

― Please give a message to the fans who supported you.

It was a long journey, but we finally achieved the annual champion title.
The reason we were able to continue our efforts without giving up is all thanks to our supporters who always stood by us.
We will continue to challenge ourselves without being satisfied with this result and strive to repay you through our performance and achievements.
