"FF9," released in the milestone year of 2000 and known for its storybook-like visuals and deeply human-centered scenario, celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
To commemorate this, Square Enix has revealed that it will hold a "SQUARE ENIX POP UP STORE" for a limited time at two stores: Daimaru Umeda and Daimaru Tokyo.
Merchandise from beloved games such as "Dragon Quest" and "Final Fantasy," as well as popular titles like "Kingdom Hearts" and "Fullmetal Alchemist," will be available.
Special "FF9" Exhibition Too! Pay Attention to the Adorable Illustrations
At the venue, there will be features to celebrate the 25th anniversary of "FF9."
Panel displays featuring newly drawn, deformed-style illustrations by Toshiyuki Itahana (@ItahanaT), an artist involved in the development of "FF9," and photo spots using his popular illustrations are planned to be set up.
